CTC Tankbouw undertook the design, construction and supply of 12 vertical 60,000-litre tanks as well as 3 units of 300,000-litre tanks. The 300,000-litre tanks were transported from Dilsen to Rotterdam by barge simultaneously. The storage of hazardous substances in these storage tanks required strict compliance with the applicable regulations. The tanks were built and delivered under KIWA PGS 29 and PGS30. Due to their position in the Rotterdam port, all storage tanks were fitted with a highly durable C5 coating system.
For CTC Tankbouw, the requested delivery time was a huge challenge. But due to the extensive automation of the welding processes as well as the blasting and coating process, CTC Tankbouw managed to deliver all storage tanks on site on time.
